At the annual Canton Fair, you can see a large number of Africans looking for business opportunities in China near the venue. However, more and more African customers are getting to know China through the Internet, and are also looking for better Chinese products through cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba International Station.

After receiving a five-star praise from a Cameroonian, we helped a Nigerian customer solve the payment problem of traditional foreign trade. The Nigerian customer should have purchased goods worth more than 10,000 yuan through traditional foreign trade. The Chinese seller may not be on the e-commerce platform, so the Nigerian customer cannot directly transfer money to him. After purchasing several sets of Jingdezhen ceramic tableware from our company, I transferred the money to the Chinese merchant through me. The transaction was completed.

Nigeria is located in the southeast of West Africa, bordering Cameroon to the east, Chad across Lake Chad in the northeast, Benin to the west, Niger to the north, and the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean to the south. The border line is about 4,035 kilometers long and the coastline is 800 kilometers long. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. There are many rivers in the country. It has a tropical monsoon climate, with a dry season and a rainy season throughout the year, and an average annual temperature of 26-27℃.

Nigeria is an ancient African civilization. In the 8th century AD, the Zaghawa nomadic tribe established the Kanem-Bornu Kingdom around Lake Chad, which lasted for more than a thousand years. From the 10th century, the Yoruba people established kingdoms such as Ife, Oyo and Benin in the lower reaches of the Niger River. Around the 11th century, the Hausa people established seven castle kingdoms in northern Nigeria, known as the "Seven Hausa States", which were conquered by the Songhai Empire in the west in the 16th century. Portugal invaded in 1472. Britain invaded in the mid-16th century. It officially became a British colony in 1914. It declared independence on October 1, 1960 and became a member of the Commonwealth. The Federal Republic of Nigeria was established on October 1, 1963.
