— Some Suggestions on International Logistics Dear International Buyers,  Gre

With the increasing number of customers, the improvement of customer quality, and the growing demand for flexible customization, international logistics has become a problem that requires more attention to solve than the products themselves. From the perspective of addressing customers' needs, our company would like to put forward some specific logistics suggestions for your reference. These suggestions can not only improve the efficiency of communication between our company and customers and increase benefits; but also, even if you do not purchase or customize products from us, you can use this idea when cooperating with other suppliers.


The best solution is: you have your own freight forwarder in China. In other words, our company only needs to deliver the customized products to your designated location within China. This is indeed the optimal approach, which corresponds to the trade term **EXW **. Our company adopts the "freight collect" method, and your freight forwarder will settle the logistics costs with you uniformly. When quoting to most of our customers, we also provide prices based on EXW, which is the ex-factory price.   


During this process, the logistics costs within China are transparent, so you don’t need to worry too much about this aspect. Take SF Express as an example: (1) Both the weight and volume of the goods can be tracked and verified; (2) The distance from our factory to your receiving point in China is fixed. Therefore, the logistics cost is also fixed. In the meantime, our company will also send you all the necessary documents and certificates related to the shipment.   


Secondly, if you do not have a freight forwarder in China and require **DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)** service (i.e., door-to-door delivery), please note the following:
(1) Please fill in the specific address according to the message "To start, I’ll need your destination address" that I sent you via the Alibaba International Station messaging platform. This will help both of us save time.
(2) For products that are best-selling in our company, our sales staff are very familiar with the carton specifications, weight, and even the maximum quantity that can be loaded into a container. In such cases, the freight cost can be easily calculated accurately.   
(3) However, if the products you purchase are highly diverse (e.g., including tableware, mugs, ceramic vases, glass cups, ornaments, and even cutlery, etc.), it will be difficult to calculate the total volume and weight of the goods in a short time.   
In this case, a more reliable approach is: you first pay the product value, and our company will then prepare the goods. After the goods are ready, we will measure the volume on-site or have the logistics company’s staff weigh the packages to get the accurate volume and weight, which will be provided to you. We will then help you inquire about the international freight cost. If you are not satisfied with the quoted international freight cost (e.g., it exceeds your budget), our company promises to refund the full amount of the product fee you paid earlier.   
It is worth mentioning that when we recently customized ceramic products for a Vietnamese customer, we found that **SF International (the international logistics service of SF Express)** actually supports freight collect for cross-border logistics.   
We recommend SF International to you because, like Alibaba International Station, it is a large-scale company with clearly marked prices for all services. Moreover, it supports freight collect (this does not include the payment for our products). So far, we have only used this service with Vietnamese customers; we are currently unsure whether SF International supports freight collect for shipments to other countries.
